Ben is native to West Texas with diverse roots being that his father is from Bangladesh and his mother from Germany. He is a graduate of Texas Tech University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Minor in Economics, and a concentration in Real Estate.
After graduation, he worked for two years in the credit department of Plains Capital Bank in Lubbock, TX. Ben felt unfulfilled, so he returned to Texas Tech University to continue his education and obtain a Master’s Degree in Personal Financial Planning. During his graduate studies at Texas Tech University, Ben earned several honors including multiple scholarships, and was elected into the prestigious peer-to-peer financial coaching organization called Red to Black. All the while, working for a wealth management firm in Lubbock and interning for a Fort Worth wealth management firm.
Ben is a member of the Dallas/Fort Worth chapter of the Financial Planning Association and plans to sit for both the CFP® and the EA examinations. Gaining these credentials will allow Ben to provide a fiduciary duty of care to clients and a specialized knowledge of taxation.
In his free time, Ben enjoys cooking, exploring new culinary experiences, and wine and beer tasting. Ben’s favorite hobbies include, playing mini golf, traveling, watching Netflix and YouTube, listening to podcasts, and watching football and soccer. He lives in Addison with his other half, Alicia, and their cat Summer. Together, Ben and Alicia enjoy exploring their new home town, Dallas/Fort Worth, and are planning more future travels.
